october 20th, 2023 marked the 20th anniversary of the release date of the first verbose album; observe.

observe(d) is a collection of tracks that were recorded before and during that time, but never made it onto the original album, or were never released. these are not new recordings. all tracks are at least 20 years old, and were made on a single synth workstation and edited in cool edit pro between 2000 and 2003.

these were just sitting dormant on an old hard drive. figured now was as good a time as any to release them for anyone that may be interested.

the tracks are exactly as they were, so are rough in places. some tracks are alternate versions, some were featured on an mp3.com album (pre-neo ouija official release), some were shared on icq with fellow music makers at the time, and some were submitted to labels as demos.
